This blog is about my Ford Gran Torino 1972 sport fastback. Witness this powerful muscle car getting back to life. It is powered by a Cleveland 351/4 Cobra Jet engine.

Here is a quick update regarding the height of the rear end. It was lifted of 1.5"
I think it gives the car a rock and roll attitude!!!
I have a dilemma. I will re-paint the car with the same color code as soon as possible. But I am thinking about removing the side rims, fill the pinholes, do the new paint and then install a laser stripes kit. I did a rendering with photoshop to give you guys an idea.
Here's a little update for this summer. The grille was painted black with the addition of the Cobra emblem. Since the car has the 351 4V Cobra Jet factory option, this emblem is a great way to show what is under the hood. Here is a picture of the new look with a copy of the Marty report showing the Cobra Jet (CJ) engine.
Any updates on your car? Do you still have it?
ReplyDeleteYes I do. No update since awhile. Just enjoying the ride. This is definitely a life time keeper :)
